Memorial Copper Pendant, STANDARD SIZE, GRIEF! Child selling loss, Hole in Your Heart, Loss, Remembrance, Love Never Dies, Memories, Copper Chain

Inspired by the statue called "Melancholy", by Albert György in Geneva, Switzerland, this ORIGINAL STANDARD SIZE copper pendant/charm is called GRIEF! This is grief. The hole in a grieving parent's heart (and body) lasts forever. We carry it with us always. John Maddox posted his powerful photo shown in photos #1, 6, and #10, with the following quote, "We may look as if we carry on with our lives as before. We may even have times of joy and happiness. Everything may seem “normal”. But THIS, “Emptiness” is how we all feel... all the time. God Bless those who have lost a child."

This ORIGINAL SIZE 3-D charm is a interpretation of the emotion that Albert Gyorgy expressed in his statue/sculpture. It is made from copper and left "rustic" to emulate the original sculpture. It can also be made with a bright copper finish (see photos #8 and #9). Send us a message if you would prefer your pendant to have the bright copper finish. Please note that these pendants are made by the silversmiths at Salish Sea Gems, not by the sculptor Albert Gyorgy.

It comes on an etched copper chain in your choice of length from 16 to 22 inches. The charm can also be made in sterling silver on a sterling silver chain (see separate listing below). All orders are made to order and will take 3-4 weeks.
