Mexican Opals on Gold-Filled selling Settings and Gold-Filled earwires

These delicate earrings shimmer with opalescent fire, set on gold-filled fancy teardrop components and gold-filled angular fishhook earwires.

The opals are man-made, with all the shimmering colors of Mexican opals. They have been securely glued onto the open-backed drop setting, which is then attached to the loop of the gold-filled angular fishhook earwires. The angular shape of the earwires keeps the dangling drops centered on your ear, and is supposed to prevent the earrings from working their way out of your ears. (Works for me, but then I don't usually have much trouble with that anyway.)

These dainty earrings are lightweight, so you can wear them in comfort all day and into the night! They're small enough to wear to work, but have the sparkle you want in the evening, so you'll get a lot of wear from these!
