Central American vintage pottery with handle, hand painted, from selling Guatemala

A lovely vintage pottery piece, hand painted from Guatemala. This piece has a handle on one side and can be used for carrying, or as a pitcher to pour liquids using the handle. It would also make a lovely vase for display or to hold flowers. The original owner acquired this lovely piece during travels to South America in the 1970s. The earth colors are reminiscent of terra cotta yet the green that is hand painted makes a subtle accent that invites character.
