Up cycled faded blue jean crossbody purse. The purse front features the right side of the jeans with front pockets. The front is embellished with a group of English paper pieced hexagons in various blue fabrics. This group of hezagons is hand stitched to the surface with running stitched of variegated blue Cosmo thread. The purse has other top stitching with variegated dark blue Sashiko thread. The purse back features the right side of the jeans back including the back pocket.
This handmade one of a kind purse would be great as a small everyday cross body or shoulder purse. Use it to carry your purse and other essentials.
The purse follows the slight natural curve of the jeans.
This purse interior is lined with dark patterend denim fabric. One side features a large slip pocket done with modern fabric featuring a tiger face. The other side features a nylon zipper zip pocket lined with vintage geometric patterned fabric. The zipper has a handmade beaded zipper pull.
The strap is made from 3/4" wide tan woven cotton webbing. There is hand torn dark blue denim fabric stitched to the top side of the strap with a decorative machine stitch. The strap is stitched into one side and looped around a repurposed denim belt loop stitched onto the other side of the purse. The strap is selling adjustable with a square silver finish slide buckle.
The purse closes at the top with a tab of dark blue suede leather with a gunmetal finish rivet snap.
