How Do I Clean My Mat?
For a simple cleaning in between uses, use a wet cloth and wipe over the mat at least two or three times, grinding deeper into the mat each time.
For a more substantial clean, use soap and water. This can be done in the bathtub or outside. Any kind of soap can work, but for the best results, we recommend using laundry detergent. Soak the mat, give it a gentle scrub, and rinse well. Due to the microfiber material, the water will soak through to the bottom of the mat and through the rubber, so pay careful selling attention to make sure all of the soap has been rinsed out. Let dry completely before use.
Initially the mat will have a rubber odor. Let it air out a couple days before use and it will naturally fade away.
