French cruet, antique salt and pepper in turned boxwood and glass. Dating from the early part of the 20th century, the central pillar and supports for the moulded glass salt and pepper holders are in a lovely, patinated, turned boxwood. The round base on which it is mounted is turned fruit wood. There is a knot hole on the very top of the round finger hole, visible in the photos. This is original and doesn't seem to have stopped the wood turner using this piece of wood. The condition is generally very good.
