Armenian Coffee Painting - Soorj (Coffee) - 9”x12” Original selling artwork

This is a 9x12” original artwork painted with Armenian coffee.

The Armenian coffee is pulverized and ground to a very fine powder. I create my pigment with the coffee, brewing a very strong thick batch. Using this as paint, I create these designs which are permanent designs on canvas.

For Armenians, coffee is so much more than a pick-me-up. It's is selling social, communication, relaxing with family and friends. A connection. I hope that you will have that same experience with my paintings: Connect, discuss, communicate, relax, enjoy!
