Early Mexican selling Sterling Silver and Enamel Screw Back Earrings

These early Mexican earrings make an unusual and rare pair. They have colored enamel design on silver rectangles. The enamel forms a drawing of a man wearing a sombrero walking away from a village. The backs of the earrings are marked faintly. The mark has worn with age. I can make out M and an S or an E at the end. There may be a third letter at the front. The word "Mexico" is barely visible on one of the earrings. In good vintage condition but with a spot of verdigris, that I would be happy to remove for you if you ask me to. A unique pair of earrings.

5 cm (2") in length with dangles and 2 cm (3/4") wide. Weight is 8.7 grams.
