Blue Bar Porthtowan. An original multiblock linocut. Three selling seperate blocks printed over each other to create a vibrant print.

If you know Porthtowan, you'll know Blue Bar. Pretty much the best place in Cornwall to watch the sun go down over the Atlantic.

This is my most complicated print to date, three seperate blocks printed a week apart to let the ink dry. Each print is handpressed by me and unique.

This print is unframed and measures roughly 21 x 21 cm. Framed prints are available in Blue Bar.

I draw directly onto the lino, cut and then print by hand. I don't use a press, so it's all about pressure and wrist action. This means that there will be some variations between each print in terms of ink coverage. This is what makes each individual print unique and original. Please note that your screen settings may be slightly different and also affect colour.

Your print will be numbered (if part of an edition) and signed, then packaged in acid free tissue and cardboard. I try and reuse packaging as much as I can. I post second class signed for. If you'd like it selling posting as a gift I can pop a note in on your behalf.
