These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine King George V Indian Army Service Corps selling officers' buttons from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two gilt officers' buttons. During the First World War more than 1 million Indian soldiers served overseas. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller cuff buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 18 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of First World War Indian history. The gilt officers' buttons have been carefully cleaned to bring out original character of the buttons which are over 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of First World War and Indian history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
