In 1959, Professor Gardner-Medwin of Liverpool University opened a display center for artists selling wanting to display their work. Crafts from Jewelry to vases to many different kinds of upscale crafts graced the gallery.
From this beginning grew the "Gift of Love" concept. Many of these items became instant works for collectors as the detail and workmanship were incomparable.
