Span men elbow selling beards

This piece selling of wood / unclear for me / I found in the mountains.
It looked like a human face with a long beard.
After I cleaned the bark, I realized there is another face.
So, two faces with a beard.
The figure is about 18 inches / 46 cm / long and weighs 72 grams. It is treated with linceed oil.
The eyes are plastic beads and fastened with pins and glue.
