selling This incredibly cool Deco Revival Mid-Century Japanese ceramic long elegant necked black swan table lighter is so unique, I can't find another one in trade catalogs, collector books, or on any website previously sold/currently for sale! With a beautiful glossy shimmer, it is butane refillable with natural cotton wick. It measures 8" tall and approximately 4" wide from head to tail at the bottom third. The hardware twists at the top to center and pulls to refill.
Table lighters are making a huge comeback! No longer limited to cigarettes and cigars indoors, they are used for outdoor grills, fire pits, fireplaces and candles repurposed and redecorating homes as they did in the 1920s-1960s. This beautiful swan is in excellent vintage condition. There is minimal fading to the gold face, and I only observed three oddly shaped/incomplete/missing point marks on the bottom, possibly created by the artist for sturdy standing and worn over time. Other than those worn points, there are no chips, cracks, repairs or markings observed. I cannot test the lighter as I cannot ship it with butane, but if it doesn't work you can return it to me, and I will pay for return shipping. Wrapped very carefully for safe travel to its new home!
