Selling Folk Art Vintage Carved Wooden Hand Painted Rooster/ Hen Chicken Bookends

This is a great hand painted, somewhat distressed, set of folk art bookends. I'm not sure if they are roosters or hens, or maybe one of each. They have been in my cookbook shelf in the kitchen for years. There are paint flakes and some chipping, but I think that adds to their appeal. The 7th photo shows that the backs look to be different colors (one greenish and one blue), but selling they are the same color (blue). I think the kitchen is the perfect place for these chicks and I would still be using them but I need the space for more cookbooks! I'm not really sure how old they are--I bought them at an estate sale over 20 years ago, and have been using them ever since. They measure approximately 8 inches high, 6 1/4 inches long and 4 inches wide. They have been fun in the kitchen, and fun just to smile at. (The cookbook is not included.)
