Vintage Chimayo Weaving with Bird selling Motif

This is not a classic Chimayo, as it is decorated but it does have the classic gorgeous rust, beige and black colors that make Chimayo weaving awesome. I love the two parent birds watching over their young in the nest as a hummingbird watches over them. For you, this could be a small scatter rug or a table runner or even a wall hanging with the right hardware.

Please look carefully at the last several selling pics - the rug weaving is unraveling in three places. This is a used rug and has likely been walked on. Chimayo weaving should not be washed so research carefully before attempting to clean. Also note that this is not reversible as the threads on the decoration are loose and exposed.
