1980 Hearings Before The Select Committee on Indian Affairs U.S. History Scarce

Very scarce. Dating from the late 20th century this work is taken from the Ninety-Sixth Congress Second Session discussing the settlement of Native Americans in Maine, America. This particular hearing took place on July 1st and 2nd 1980. An interesting work capturing the treatment of Native American people by the U.S. Government in the 1980s. The committee comprised of John Melcher, Montana (Chairman); Daniel K. Inouye, Hawaii; Dennis DeConcini, Arizona; William S. Cohen, Maine; Mark O. Hatfield, Oregon; Max I. Richtman (Staff Director). Condition Report: In the publisher's original paper binding. Externally generally smart, with minor shelfwear to the extremities. Horizontal mark to the rear board, with light marks also to the front board. Light fading to the spine, with light creasing to the front board. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall: Very Good Indeed
