Minotaur Taurus Art Nouveau selling Sterling Silver Pendant

selling My solid sterling silver Minotaur Taurus Pendant would make an excellent present for anyone born under the z0diac sign of Taurus. It is different than most Taurus symbols I've seen as the bull is draped with small flowers and other decorations.

There are a number of ancient Greek myths connected with bulls, cattle being very important to the survival of ancient people. One tells the story of Pasiphae, a queen of Crete, who was cursed to fall madly in love with a beautiful white bull. Pasiphae adorned the beautiful bull with flowers. Their offspring was the Minotaur, a man with a bull's head and tail.

I created my Minotaur Taurus Pendant by reproducing and adapting a piece of Art Nouveau decoration. It might have represented a theater mask of some kind. My Minotaur Taurus Pendant is about 1 1/8 of an inch from the tip of his horns to his chin and about 3/4 of an inch at its widest. I made it using the lost wax casting process. All my pendants come with an adjustable black silky cord.
