Surrealism - selling Dark Art - Antique Horror Doll

Hand painted and reanimated porcelain and composition doll. Porcelain head and composition body. The head turns as do all the legs.

This is a large doll that sits approximately 15inches in height and is a total of approximately 23 inches in length.

This is a circa 2900-1930 Koppelsdorf doll that is held together by string. The top of her head had shattered so we inserted a crocheted brain and made a surreal artistic piece.

Blood detail has been added selling to her brain to look fresh and realistic. She has blood dripping down her face and out from her mouth.

Her entire body has been painted to give the impression of undead. Sealant has been applied however due to the nature of strung dolls slight chipping may occur where the limbs move however this is small in detail and hidden completely by her clothing.

Her head turns beautifully for multiple poses.

She comes dressed in her original vintage cotton dress. Knitted vintage vest and we have gifted her stripey lime green tights.
